Most fabs have been converted away from 180 & 190 and are now using thicker filament and matching filament clamps (20 and 30)

The extended life filament (140) is used with the .050" clamp (30) and either of the modified apertures (150 & 160) and is expected to increase the filament lifetime by roughly 50% compared to the original design. The emission measurements of aperture 150 has been found to be lower compared to the original setup, but not below the lower limits. The modified aperture (1600) shown with the enlarged hole is designed to return the set-up to standard emission levels, while benefiting from the longer filament life.

One piece insulator (130) replaces 40 & 50 and provides longer coating path length to extend lifetime.
